Delivered to the Seenotdienst as CM+RM. March 12th 1944 in service with Seenotstaffel 4. That day made a flight from Selent to Pillau with among the crew pilot Hildebrand and mechanic Obergefreiter Willy Busche. Take-off from Selent was at 11:17 with landing at Kiel at 11:27 Take-off from Kiel at 11:30 with landing at Parow at 12:30. The final stage was started from Parow at 13:30, landing at Pillau at 15:30. March 15th 1944 made a rescueflight from Pillau with take-off at 10:20 and landing at 11:45. Crew same as above. Search was for a Junkers Ju-88, nothing was found. March 17th 1944 made a rescueflight from Pillau with take-off at 16:30 and landing at 17:20. Crew same as above. Again the search was for a Junkers Ju-88. March 21st 1944 made a rescueflight from Pillau with take-off at 13:42 and landing at 14:05. Crew same as above. Again the search was for a missing Junkers Ju-88, this time a dinghy was found and recovered. March 25th 1944 made a rescueflight from Pillau with take-off at 14:50 and landing at 15:50. Crew same as above. The search was for a "prahm", this was found and recovered. March 27th 1944 made a local flight from Pillau with take-off at 13:10 and landing at 13:55. Crew same as above. March 29th 1944 made a rescueflight from Pillau with take-off at 12:55 and landing at 17:40. Crew same as above. The search was for a singhy which was not found. March 30th 1944 made two rescueflights from Pillau. The first take-off was at 06:05 with landing at 11:00. The search was for a dinghy without success. The second flight started at 11:40 with landing at 14:20. The search was for an Arado Ar-196 which was shot down. The aircraft was not found. In both cases the crew was the same as above. April 2nd 1944 a rescueflight was made from Pillau with take-off at 12:00 and landing at 12:40. The search was for a crashlanded Junkers Ju-88. A severly wounded crewmember was rescued but he died later in the hospital due to undercooling. The crew was the same as above April 4th 1944 made two testflights from Pillau with the first take-off at 07:50 and landing at 08:15. The second take-off was at 14:33 with landing at 15:22. The crew was the same as above. April 6th 1944 flew from Pillau to Hexengrund and back. Take-off was at 13:00 with landing at Kexengrund at 13:30. Take-off there was at 16:35 with landing at Pillau at 17:10. Crew same as above. April 9th 1944 made a flight from Pillau to Elchwerder and back with take-off at 08:10 and landing at Elchwerder at 08:40. Take-off from there was at 12:08 with landing back at Pillau at 12:40. Crew same as above. April 11th 1944 made a rescueflight from Pillau with take-off at 11:10 and landing at 11:55. The search was for a crashlanded Junkers Ju-88. The Ju-88 crew was rescued by a ship. The Do-24 crew was the same as above. April 14th 1944 was transferred from Pillau via Nest to Bug. Take-off was at 08:50 with landing at Nest at 10:10. Take-off from nest was at 13:00 with landing at Bug at 13:50. At Bug the aircraft was probably handed over to Seenotstaffel 9. The crew was the same as above. At Bug the crew picked up the DJ+ZR and flew that back to Pillau. |
