Events Entered service as KD+GJ and functioned as prototype for the new Do-24T-1 version.
January 20th 1942 made testflights on Lake Boden/Constanze in Southern Germany.
Transferred to Seenotstaffel 9.
November 19th 1943 made trainingflight with a dinghy drop taking off from Kiel-Holtenau at 11:10 and landing at Ternat at 11:52. Pilot on the flight was Uffz. Klück and mechanic Uffz. Gottfried Ullbricht. With the same crew took off again for Kiel-Holtenau at 12:01 landing there at 12:11.
April 1st 1944 made a 4 landingtests from List auf Sylt. Among the crew pilot Kruse and mechanic Günter Kliesch. The data were as follow:
