it's first flight, being the first Do-24 to be equipped with
a test oxygen-installation of the Drager factory. June 20th 1939 flown from Germany to Papendrecht as D-AYWI, entering service as X-26. July 1939 shipped to the Dutch East Indies on board of the Brastagi. October 27th 1941 stationed at Ternate as part of GVT 5, making reconnaissance missions over the eastern part of the archipelos. December 10th 1941 transferred to the Tondano Lake. December 22nd 1941 got ordered to bomb the ships and installations at Davao. December 26th 1941 destroyed on the Tondano Lake during a Japanese air attack. |
