December 22nd 1943 made testflights at E-Stelle Travemünde. These lasted until December 31st 1943.
Fabruary 23rd 1944 transferred from Bug to Kiel.
May 1945 surrendered at Bodö reportedly in service with Seenotstaffel 51.
1945 handed over by the RAF to the Norwegian Air Force. Entered service with No. 333 Squadron at Skattora, flown by German crews under the command of the NoAF. The Do-24 together with Werk Nr. 3335 was based at Oslo-Fornebu for Air-Sea-Rescue missions.
December 1945 encountered engine damage.
February 1946 sunk.
