| Events | October 21st 1942 entered
service with the Seenotdienst as VH+SM. September 10th 1943 tried to rescue 52 Italian sailors and got shot up by an American Consolidated B-24 Liberator bomber, together with Do-24's Werk Nummern 1001 and 177. Eventualy the Do-24 crews and the Italians were rescued by the rescue boat Fl.B.-604. Click here to see the report filed by the B-24 crew after their mission.
